Machine copy of CW works good for machine sent CW, but not so good for
hand sent. I know a local ham who barely passed the 5 wpm code test by
good guessing at the multiple choice questions but has DXCC on CW using
only computer copying and sending. Sometimes I've seen FLDIGI copy
halfway decently. There is a program used for cw band surveys that
apparently copies hand sent decently. I've forgotten its name.
