If I had a clue about programming, I'd code a scanner program. Even the
native ones don't seem to work correctly.
REPLY:
I bought ACLOG before I ventured into Linux (deleted vista and never looked
back) I dual boot XP and Kubuntu. Because some ham radio apps run only in XP.
I tried running ACLOG under wine. Application works fine but I cannot
communicate with my Ten Tec 516. However, I managed to have another app,
FLDIGI work "butiful".
I realize that wine will work better on "older" applications (same goes for
new hardware device drivers I suppose). Both wine and aclog have been around
for a spell. I am sure someone figured out how to make the app communicate with
ham radios. (I can hope)
I also tried using Pilot to link with palm devices to no avail. Maybe I'm
doing something wrong.
