I am running Puppy Linux 2.13 here on a laptop
and a desktop. Small and well supported.

Try jlog for logging, it is native Linux. It includes
links to the dx logging feeds. Development of the app
seems to have stalled, it may be that the developer
could use a helper or two.

What rigs would you like to control? There are a
variety of native Linux apps for that.

There are a number of programming apps as well.

If you need GPS the look at gpsdrive, basic features
now but is under very active development.

Have you explored any of the Ham digital modes
under Linux? There are lots of them.
