[Ham-Linux] Hello

Thanks For the welcome to the group.

I am happy I found this group. I am a Ham and an avid Linux user. I have 8 
computers and run everything from Suse to Ubuntu.  I would really enjoy 
learning what works and how to get it working. So far I have had luck 
running echolink and mmsstv under Wine. I am now looking for good logging 
and Rig control software. I prefer native Linux stuff. I have even been 
successful running ham software in Windows XP under VMware server. Although 
My core 2 duo has more then enough horse power to run 2 operating systems at 
once Running Ham stuff in Windows XP using Vmware is not my preferred method 
more a last resort.
