If Linrad were to be packaged with a tiny and simple
Linux distro like Puppy Linux I believe it could be
widely distributed to Hams.
Puppy will load and run from CD, zip, cf card, usb stick, etc.
It loads on any PC, does not disturb the MS Windows settings,
and cleans up after itself when the PC has been rebooted.
Such a combo would allow Hams to experiment with Linrad
without disturbing their existing MS Windows setup.
Once they've tried Puppy Linux they will realize that they
don't really need MS Windows for 99% of what they do. ;-)
