[Ham-Linux] bizarre

I re-post this message for the benefit of whomever might receive it.

I've a question. I've been receiving this list's emails, off and on, for
about a year or two now. I've tried to ask questions to the group with no
success in terms of a response from anybody. This is a weird list, as far as
this system's receiving goes. For a period of days I get numerous Ham/Linux
emails and then for several months get nothing. Could someone please tell me
what the problem is as I'm starting to feel like it's some sort of bleed
over from a Neil Gaiman novel. Thanks.
