There are several companies (Newegg, TigerDirect, etc) that have them.
Amazon has one for $1.50 plus $3.49 shipping
http://www.amazon.com/DB9-Male-9C-Serial-Cable/dp/B000I1D0H6. Google and
you will find a choice of companies that carry DB9 cables. Of course if
Ken finds one you will not have to order one.

Goodwill stores and Arc stores in the back near the old electronics ! Dosent
Rad Shack sell um in more in their "Full Service Store", NOT the regular

Gene,
No hurry. A DB-9 serial cable is about as rare as dinosaur teeth these
days. I was surprised to find that I hadn't saved any in my computer junk
pile. Lots of old Centronix printer cables, VGA cables, dozen or so AC
cords, but no serial cables like we used to use on modems, mice, etc.
Thanks very much for taking the time to look for one.
