Goodwill stores and Arc stores in the back near the old electronics ! Dosent Rad Shack sell um in more in their "Full Service Store", NOT the regular held in the wall store.

No hurry. A DB-9 serial cable is about as rare as dinosaur teeth these 
days. I was surprised to find that I hadn't saved any in my computer junk 
pile. Lots of old Centronix printer cables, VGA cables, dozen or so AC 
cords, but no serial cables like we used to use on modems, mice, etc. 

Thanks very much for taking the time to look for one.
