   What I always did in DOS + 3.1, (I upgraded to LINUX in 1997) was, I would:
  1. delete all of the cookies
  2. visit all of the web sites that used cookies "so I need not log in again"
  3. copy that the cookie file to a directory like "DOS"

   In autoexec.bat I copied the file in C:\DOS directory over the Netscape cookie file and I was 
always starting where I wanted to be without the bloat and troublesome cookies.
