I wondered which Willy's....
Years ago, when gas was about 25 to 32 cents a gallon, I noticed a 
'41 Willy's for sale at a local muffler shop.  The price seemed 
pretty high for a '41 Willy's, and I asked about it.  The mechanic 
said it had a Buick engine (straight 8, those days).  I said 
impossible, and he invited me to look at it.  The engine was there, 
but went through the firewall into the passenger compartment.  He 
said he lost a drag race with him on his motorcycle.   Not as bad as 
the Nash Metropolitan I saw in a gas station with an Olds V8 
installed.  The attendant said it was pretty spooky when you stepped 
on it.  Things have changed.
