[Ham-Computers] Running a DOS program

Hello,

I am trying to run a DOS program called Puff. My operating system is XP.

When I run the program the introduction scren comes on and gives me a choice of any key or esc

When I press any key or esc nothing happens. I am using a USB keyboard.

I thought it might be that I need to use a PS2 keyboard so I ran it on my other computer that has a PS2 keyboard and it accepted any key and went to the program but it will not respond to F keys.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to make it recognize all the keys on my keyboard?
