[Ham-Computers] XP SP3 Auto Update Problem

How does one delete a downloaded OS Update.  After a recent batch of mostly 
security related updates showed up, I installed them on our three XP 
machines.  On two machines all installed OK.  On the third one, one of the updates 
won't install, and of course keeps bugging me to install it.  I went to the 
MS update site and tried to download it again but it "knows" it's already 
downloaded and won't do it again.  I tried to wade through their support 
system but got about as far as one would expect (nowhere).  I also tried 
rebooting the machine and then shutting down everything loaded at boot time that I 
could shut down.  And I ran Registry Mechanic a couple of times.  If I could 
delete the update I could try it again from scratch.
