[Ham-Computers] Windows 7

Hi,
I've updated BOTH of my computers to Win-7 and am extremely pleased with
it. I have the Pro version on this desktop machine and the Home
Ultimate on the laptop. I still continue to use my same email accounts
(SBCglobal and gmail) (you don't HAVE to use Hotmail) and have NO
problem getting my mail. I use Mozilla Thunderbird, but MS has a nice
free replacement for Outlook Express called Windows Mail that you can
download to your Win-7 computer if you wish to go that route.

In short, I find Win-7 a joy to use and would never go back to XP unless
forced to because I was working on an older machine (this one's three
years old and works well).

YES, there's a learning curve, but that is true for any new products in
this modern age, whether a computer, a car or a TV set. . .
