[Ham-Computers] Purchasing via Amazon.com

This is pretty much an off-topic question, but have a problem.

I'm on a long RV-ing vacation. My new Garmin 855 GPS seems to be
heat-sensitive, and I want to purchase a mount that will secure it to
an air conditioner vent. Amazon.com has one and I want a family member
to purchase it and send it to me. She can use a computer ok, receive
email, surf the web, but had major problems with Amazon.com. I usually
have a non-secure wifi connection, so don't want to send password and
credit card info on-line and make the purchase myself.

I went through the steps with a cell-phone, but had to stop when my
password was requested. After a number of attempts, she reached the
final screen before actually purchasing, and the item (

<http://www.amazon.com/Arkon-GN047-Removable-Mount-StreetPilot/dp/B0015A6YN6>
) was there, four times. I don't mean a quantity of four, four
separate purchases of the same item. How can three of them be removed?
Starting again probably would result in five items, as the shopping cart
doesn't empty automatically.

Can someone help me, in super-detailed language that I can relay to
her? For example, if there is a delete button on a screen, what is it
called, what does it look like, and where is it located? I had trouble
with her finding the add to shopping cart button, so a general comment
doesn't help..

Jim.
