[Ham-Computers] Another email question

Thanks for the help.  USB flash drives work fine now; contents are 
displayed shortly after plugging in a flash drive.  I didn't do 
anything, and decided I may have not plugged the drives in fully when 
I tried the other night.  The computer only has two USB ports, 
located on the rear where they are hard to reach.

I found references to Gnome.  The system pull-down menu includes 
About Gnome.  I didn't find "about drivers and media" in 
system>preferences.  Too bad; it would have been interesting to check.

I know it will take a while to become familiar with Linux.  There is 
one important approach - try Linux when you have plenty of time, not 
when you must do something immediately.  I made that mistake a few days ago.
