[Ham-Computers] Secure E-mail Services?

I don't have any current need for one but am curious about the
so-called "secure E-mail" services I see now and then, such as
Hushmail and embarqmail.

Has anyone used them and what are the results?

It seems to me that the monitoring services of our increasingly
Orwellian Homeland Security Dept. would flag all of that mail
for special attention and that it is likely a trivial matter
for them
to decode it.

WDYT?
