[Ham-Computers] AVG 7.5

I think Avast is good but I too think AVG is better. I think it was version
7 that was really slow. I think one commenter thought version 7 no longer
got virus file updates. Would want to check on that. It probably does not
get engine updates. AVG 8.5 I installed on a neighbors XP Home fine and
parents using AVAST on Vista, Aunt Avast on XP Home and daughter using AVG
8.5 on Vista. I have McAfee through a work license so that is why I have
neither. I guess I have AVG 8.5 on my Windows 7 HD.

Hi Jonathan
Never heard of Avast. Any comments from the group. I was hoping someone
had down load 7.5 on a disk.

Any one have a copy of AVG 7.5 that you can send me via attachment? I am
aware of 8.5 and the 7.5 doesn't go into my computers. It's for a friend
from Switzerland that comes over here once or twice a year. I can't get the
8.5 installed in her computer (XP Home). The upgrade starts then locks up.
She removed the 7.5 and now has nothing.
Tks
JV
