[Ham-Computers] Reformatting a Flash Drive

Hi Aaron and the Group:
What issues might be encountered when reformatting a flash drive to 
use NTFS?  I have read other forums where reformatting was attempted 
and many problems were encountered (details not listed) - with the 
poster indicating they would not try reformatting again.  I thought 
the flash drive technology might be the reason.  I would use 
Partition Magic for reformatting.

I just had my second flash drive failure.  I cut and pasted a large 
folder from one flash drive to another.  The transfer occurred, but 
all remaining folders on the first drive disappeared.  Files not in 
folders remained.
