[Ham-Computers] Battery Recharging

I am looking for an existing product or good construction ideas.

I need to be able to recharge more than one laptop battery at a time.  I can easily use more than one battery per day if I am away from 120VAC and my portable UPS.  I remove the battery when it is is not the sole means of power to prevent the battery continually being on charge.  Batteries are expensive.  Batteries are heavy.  I don't really want to carry five of them, but at times I will use three or four per day.

Recharging them one at a time, is slow.  I ought to be able to recharge several at one time.

I don't think there is any standardization in battery connectors.

Ideas welcome!!
