Don't need a boot disk...  I do need a solution to the problem I've been
asking about, however.

I'm going to try an install of Windows 95, full verison from floppy, it
should see the CD ROM when I put it in the floppy bay, that should allow me
to upgrade from my Windows 98 SE CD.

(please note, at no point have I asked about Linux)
