I couldn't agree more!
Does anyone know what engineering justification could possibly exist for "underengineering" a device's power supply, to the extent that at full load efficiency is decreased because the switching power supply is overloaded and must be supplemented from the battery?
How about safety? Are we talking about a fire that's about to happen?
