Here's another time saver variation on Aaron's suggestions. If you need to move rapidly in Windows XP to Windows Explorer and see all folders in the C: hard drive:

1. On keyboard Select Windows key, or click Start with mouse. The Windows key is usually on left of Alt key on bottom row of QWERTY keyboard, two keys to left of space bar.

2. Select R (or r) key, or click Run with mouse.

3. In the Run windows type without quotes "explorer /e,c:\"

4. Select OK.

5. See Windows Explorer appear. The directory tree in left plane reveals all folders in C:\ drive, and those same folders are also in right pane configured as you wish by your choices in View.
