Do you want to install XP instead of Vista? I did on mine. Vista would not run most of my ham software. I can tell you how to get your harddrive to work. I just reformatted and installed XP but you must go into bios and disable the native SATA mode. Wont make any difference on XP because only Vista uses the native mode.
