Actually, I rather expected that was what he wanted to do (make decals).  
I'll give you my answer against dry transfer stuff and in favor of easy to 
produce decals.  (1) you are stuck with the few fonts and pitches available.  (2) 
it's virtually impossible to get them straight enough that anyone with good 
vision can't tell how they were done.  (3) they only work passably well on flat 
surfaces.  If the part is cylindrical the difficulty of getting acceptable 
results increases exponentially.  (4) they are extremely time intensive.  If you 
have a lot of parts to do you'll spend a lifetime doing it.
