[Ham-Computers] Re Cleaning Up The Debris

Hello All,

When using the Windows XP Home Edition OS what should one periodically clean 
out?

I know that previous Windows systems had different areas that they stored 
temporary files in, as well as other areas that items one had deleated also 
got saved in for some reason.

So please enlighten me as to what temp directories, or whatever, I should 
empty or delete.

I am also wondering what junk is on my HD from using Word Pad and Outlook 
Express?
