Sorry for the delay in replying. I know nothing about ME. But don't think I
understand what you mean by "copy from ME" to 2000. The only things on the
drive related directly to ME and not to 2000 should be ME itself. And I don't
know why you would want any of it copied forward. I don't know how many
drives you have available but form all you've said I think the smart thing to do
would be to copy everything on the existing C drive that is not part of either
ME or 2000 to a second drive. Then do a "from scratch" installation of 2000 on
that drive, including reformatting or partitioning the drive. Then install
your security software and go through the entire updating process for 2000.
Then reinstall all the other software. Finally copy whatever you need from the
backup drive.
