I run both CCleaner and Jv16 power tools. neither one of them are
"realtime" programs. You simply choose when to run a registry check. I
run two anti malware programs but only one realtime. The problems crop
up trying two run two realtimes simultaneously if they are similar
programs. You would never run two different firewalls.
CCleaner is great for quickly clearing chkdsk fragments, history, and so
forth. takes just a second so I use it frequently. Not so power tools.
Very complex program and I use it far less frequently. It does however
have many uses besides registry checking.
Hope this ramble helps
