Hi Gareth, John & N1MSV,
I have found the same thing! Can't tell a bit of difference!
Several years back, I became disgusted with AOL - they take over your
computer and put "junk" all throughout the
machine! I ran the the "uninstall" command but that does not clean all of
their "junk" out of your machine. I continued
to have troubles which I attributed to AOL, didn't have them before, and one
afternoon I began looking for their
residual krap and in Windows DDIR, guess what?, I saw a file that looked
suspicious so I brought it up with the
"more" command and even though it was almost all "heiroglyphics", I saw the
work "american" scattered in the file!
Well, I couldn't wait to delete that krap and be-doggone if it didn't solve
one of my pesky problems!
I finally reprogrammed the C drive to be completely rid of their krap! Lost
a lot of good into....
N1MSV, where can I get that program "CCleaner"? Everybody take care,
Ken N5CM
