You shouldn't have to talk to any tech support to repartition and
reformat your harddrive.
Partitioning and reformatting are tools that come with any OS.
Almost all linux distros have a dialog that comes up during the install
process for you to partition your drive whether you want to resize or
overwrite the whole drive.
