Win2K can be upgraded to WinXP Pro, but not Home.
However, for reasons I think I've posted here in the past, I highly discourage "upgrades" from one OS to another. There are just too many variables involved (incompatible DLL's/Apps) and most "upgrades" need a lot of TLC to get working right. The time involved often exceeds the time required to do a "fresh" install (plus you get to do some "housekeeping" while you're at it).

Oh, that's right. I had forgotten about the "upgrade" (and the "repair"
options on the install menu. About the last three times I've had to install an OS
it's been with a new system board and drives. So the options weren't
options.
Wonder whether it will work when going from W2K to XP? I'm going to have to
find out sometime this summer.
