[Ham-Computers] RE: Slow problem - again (Still)

Yes, I used to run Spy Sweeper on my older laptop when my computer really
bogged down and became so slow that it was basically useless. It turned out
that when Spy Sweeper upgraded automatically, was when I tracked the problem
to. That upgrade required twice as much RAM than their previous version so
I had nothing left to run my other programs. I contacted Webroot and they
gave me a URL so I could reload the old version so I could still use that
laptop.

I finally had to just remove Spy Sweeper from my laptop since I could not
afford that program using so much of my RAM. On my new laptop which has 1
Gig of RAM, I decided to not even load that program. So, yes, the programs
that are supposed to keep you safe, could bring your computer to its knees!
