Ancient Linux *was* like pre-Windows DOS, *both* operating
systems have matured.

Modern Linux is just as user-friendly as Apple or
any of the MS versions of windows.

However, with Linux you don't have to hold your
breath every time you log on to the Internet for
fear that one of the 100,000 viruses out there does
not get into your computer.

I am using Puppy Linux 2.14 here and it does everything
MS versions of windows do, except bleed my wallet and
force me into restrictive contract limitations.
