Only remaining question deals with grabbing the XP Command Prompt in lower right with diagonal arrow.

The Command Prompt window works much the same way as the old Win9x MS-DOS Prompt. However, there's no auto font sizing. But you can increase the number of rows by pulling "down" on the lower-right corner of the window.
If you wish to change the horizontal size, you need to change the font size. To do this, right-click on the box in the upper left corner of the window (the icon of the Command Prompt) and select "Properties". >From here, the properties are similar to the ones in the Win9x MS-DOS prompt. Click on the "font" tab and choose a font.
BTW, most apps in Windows have a context-menu when you right click the upper-right corner. Don't remember the exact name of this context-menu, but it's generally where you find "properties" of the app or the "About" and "Help" screens.
