I can't think of a way to easily show the actual link. But an idea is to "edit" the message (with the message open, click "Edit" -> "Edit message") and convert it to plain text ("Tools" -> "Plain text"). This will show all the links as they are (including the masked one). However, all graphics in the e-mail will be lost, but this may not be a bad thing. You could also view the "source" of the message, but you would then need to know how to read HTML to decipher it. Perhaps someone else knows of an easier way.
Along the same lines, starting with Outlook 2003, Outlook added the ability to block off-site graphics from automatically appearing in e-mails - a place-marker is put in it's place instead and you could then right-click on any place-marker and retrieve the graphics. This prevents 1-pixel "automatic" return-receipts and also prevents exploits from corrupted images. This setting can be found under the "Tools" -> "Options" -> "Security". I highly recommend that this setting be enabled.
If I can find anything else, I'll post it.

Subject: [Ham-Computers] Viewing links in e-mail?
A friend nearly clicked on a phising site link in an e-mail this morning.
I use Outlook Express which shows a link in the lower toolbar when I hover
over a link.
My friend uses Microsoft Outlook in Windows XP Home Edition. I do not see
anything indicating where she is about to go when she hovers over a link,
just a finger shaped mouse pointer indicating the link can be clicked. How
can this info be seen before clicking in the link?
Thanks,
Kurt
