Go to my computer.Tools,folder options,file types,advanced and see what is 
up with running wmv files.

I recently installed Nero 7 on my XP machine. Since then when I receive a 
file with a .wmv file extension, I cannot play that file from my outlook 
express email program. I get the error message ::

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this 
action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel.



When I go look in the folder options of the control panel, "Nero 7" is 
referenced there.



If I save the file to the hard drive,  and then click on it, it opens and 
plays properly in Nero 7.



I would appreciate if someone can tell me why this occurs and what I can do 
to fix it.
