Just because a traceroute shows * for hops does not mean that there is a
problem with that hop. It just means that there was no ICMP Time Expired
packet received. Some administrators block ICMP request to help prevent
smurfing and other DoS and DDoS attacks. Use traceroute as a tool and not
for definitive diagnosis.

There's a problem with QSL.NET (see recent trace route below). Also, I
noticed Al resorted to a very old backup for the web server a few weeks ago.
