[Ham-Computers] Latest XP Security Updates

There may be many versions but they are all essentially compatible if you
are technically inclined. From my perspective the problem with linux (and
the only one) is that most of the programs I need to work from home or to
participate in my hobbies are not linux compatible and vice versa. If M$
would embrace an open source structure for its core programs then I'd jump
over to exclusively Linux in a heartbeat. Any linux flavor is inherently
much more stable than M$, easier to personalize and provides much more
control over what your system does than the M$ operating systems.

The problem with Linux is that there are 40 million versions and counting.
It's like barbeque sauce or chili. Every County and Parish has its favorite
recipe. Or like the Muslim War. Kill all of them. Let them kill all of
us.
Or somewhere in between. If you ask whether so an so program will run with
such and such Linux version you always get at least three mutually exclusive
answers. So I don't use honey-laced barbecue sauce. I don't eat chili with
beans. And I don't use Linux.
