>From "Web-mail" it's not quite that easy.  All my mail also comes through my 
Yahoo account (SBCglobal.net),  but I use the M$ O.E. to access it, so all 
my mail is automatically downloaded to my computer.  I just went and looked 
at the "webmail site", which I've used on occasion if I wanted to access my 
Email from my wife's computer (and I didn't want to use POP to download it 
to that machine).

Apparently there isn't any provision to download your web-mail directly from 
Yahoo to your machine so you can save it to CD or whatever, other than using 
POP.   At least none that I could find.  I guess they figure that if you 
don't want to leave all your mail on their website then you'll set it up as 
a "POP" account.

I prefer to use the POP account and keep it on my machine, but webmail is 
very handy if you intend to travel a lot or otherwise access your mail from 
various computers.  Of course if your machine is subject to crashes and 
you've not backed it up, you can lose all your mail too!
