[Ham-Computers] Problem with laptop...Help

Brian,

I believe MS no longer supports the OS? You are trying to download after the 
cut off date. I do not know if it is related, but it is worth you checking 
out.

I do not know how fast your CPU is or how much RAM is present, but unless 
that CPU is 200 MHZ+ and the RAM 32 Meg+, I would not run Windows 98 SE due 
to system constraints. The available HD and RAM is greatly reduced. You 
might be better off with Windows 95.
