I don't know much about them, but the obvious question is whether the
unit's under warranty or not.  Dell's pretty good about replacing stuff.

But I suppose if you're troubleshooting yourself, it's out of warranty.
Dell's uniformly bad at helping troubleshoot if it's not in the script.
