[Ham-Computers] Analog vs Digital Flat Panel Displays - What's the Difference?

I don't know the merits between digital and analog monitors other than 
digital is a better picture.

I do know when researching before I got my 17 inch LCD that it was 
similar to a 19 to 20 inch CRT.
When sold there sold by actual screen viewing size, unlike CRTs which 
are sold by actual screen size.
So when you buy a 17 inch LCD your getting 17 inches of viewable screen.
There getting better and better, as well as cheaper prize wise.
If I was to buy one now I would buy at least a 19 inch LCD.
