Hi Duane,
I use the Memorex CD & DVD label-maker. You buy the little plastic
applicator which comes with a few labels, and then you can buy a package of
120 label refills. Each sheet will do 2 CD Labels, two Jewel Case Spine
labels and two Mali-use labels with enough to do a total of 120 labels per
package. It runs about 8.00 per package in Wal-Mart or nearly twice that at
Staples. Both the applicator and the refill packages comes with a software
CD for doing the actual layout and printing which may be done on either a
Laser or Ink Jet printer.
The only problem is, I'm not at all sure that the software would be easy for
you to use without your being able to see the screen for text arrangement.
I found I had to do a lot of "dragging and dropping" to arrange the size and
proper location of the text on the CD's etc. Perhaps your Grandson could
help you with that?
The sheets are perforated and after printing you peel off the label to apply
to the CD or Jewel case. It is HIGHLY suggested that you buy the plastic
applicator to make sure that the labels are well centered on the CD. It is
also about 8.00 at Walmart.
