[Ham-Computers] LPT-1 - problem solved

The problem was solved by turning on the parallel port in BIOS. I flashed a
new bios and the default setting is to disable the parallel port. Assume
nothing. Thanks for the suggestion to look in bios.

Also, I took Aaron's advice to download and install the latest chipset
drivers from Via, rather than from Asus, the motherboard manufacturer. These
drivers were a lot newer than the ones provided by Asus.
