[Ham-Computers] Any Of You Experience Auto Dial?

Hello All,

I am totally blind, as most of you know. Today while I was trying to add 
some additional words and phrases to my filters, and was 'not' on-line, my 
computer suddenly started to dail my ISP! I managed to terminate this, as I 
had no idea why it did this without me telling it to do so!

A few minutes ago while I was in OE looking at some data in a previous 
e-mail, NOT on-line, it started dialing, again.

I did notice something on the screen about updating some java scripts? 
Apparently a pop up window? I have said "NO" previously when it asked, but 
did not dial.

Have any of you had this happen with Windows XT Home Edition using OE 6.0 
and MSIE 6.0? If so, how can I stop this?
