Go to Control Panel, Network Connections - one of the connection types is
dial-up connection.

Subject: [Ham-Computers] XP and Dial-Up Networking
In many places, including but not limited to hotels and motels, dial-up
service is the only way to connect. Slow, yes, but maybe better than
nothing. Then to, many hotels and motels are returning to wire connections
for many reasons.
In Win98SE, and likely W95B before, you did a setup from My Computer by a
dclick to Dial-Up Networking. In that window you saw "Make a New
Connection" and by a dclick proceeded with the appropriate data entry,
finally ending with an entry name. A rclick to the entry name enable the
creating of a shortcut on the Desktop.
What is the easiet and shortest way to do the same thing in XP-Home?
