Hello All,
My CD players and CDRW decks can have their optics cleaned by using a
special cleaning CD. It has tiny little brushes on its surface and they
supposedly remove the general crud that accumulates from ordinary use. Such
as dust, oil from the skin of the fingers, smoke residue from the air etc.
It seems to work quite well.
I wonder what one does to clean the optics on a DVD player or player/burner?
Is it ok to use the same cleaning CD on the DVD or is there a different one
needed for the DVD units?
Simply put, how does one clean the internal DVD drive in his computer or his
external stand alone DVD player connected to his surround sound system?
Thanks!
