Hi Jim,
Personally, I started out using the rewriteable CDRW format and soon learned
it was more trouble than worth. I have abandoned its use totally and use
only CDR format now. I developed a better way of transfering vinyl albums,
cassette tapes or whatever onto a CD than the CDRW product provided.
Jim, use the CDR format, and forget about editing the CDRW disc. The cost of
CDR Vs CDRW is far less, as I am sure you know. The problems go away, the
compatability with various CD players is minimal and the complexity is
eliminated.
I would suggest that you use a fresh CDR disc, label it with the new name
you desire and transfer that data to it. Easy, safe and quick to do.
Just my opinion Jim, the hastles with CDRW simply were not worth the bother.
