I'm looking for CD/DVD R/W software, and would appreciate some advice. I
use CD's primarily to store data files (Word documents, downloaded
applications, etc.) Less frequently, I store images from my digital camera.
I'm looking for an application that will allow me to change the label (seen
when I look at the CD using Windows Explorer, etc., not a physical label
attached to the CD) without reformatting the CD.
This feature is available on an early version of Adaptec Direct CD, which
came with my Dell Pentium 3 and only works with 9x/Me, but I can't find it
on Nero Express 6 which came with a replacement CD/RW drive, or Roxio Easy
CD Creator v 5.3.5.10 which came with my Dell Inspiron with Win XP. These
applications are probably abbreviated since they came free with something
else, but don't want to purchase a more complete version without knowing.
Any suggestions? While I mentioned CD's primarily, my new computer has a
CD/DVD R/W drive and the application should cover both.
Thanks, Jim w6ivw
