[Ham-Computers] network

IN the dark here
two computer been hook up on a network for almost 3 months
via a cat 5 cable sharing internet connection

one show 100mbps and the other shows 12 mbps

haven't got the foggiest idea why except the on showing 12 now wont connect 
to internet
i got e-mail and IM programs that work but not WebPages

ftp program will not connect either
