Greetings All,

Perhaps I should have said 'ancient' and not old! (grin) I originally had MSIE
version 3.0 on this Compaq computer. At some point in time I downloaded a newer
version, 4.7, I think. It is definitely a 4.?, but less than 5.0

"Why is this an issue?" you ask. "Why not just crawl out of your stone age cave
and use a modern version, maybe even 5.5?" The reason is because the software
that I use to read the CRT to me (totally blind), only works with specific
versions of MSIE and OE. For instance, MSIE and OE version 5.0 work with JFW 3.5
(JFW = JAWS For Windows) MSIE and OE version 5.5 only work with JFW 3.7.
Additionally, Windows 98a is required to use any of the aforementioned software.

This computer is operating under Windows 95B and JFW 3.3135 Which is why it had
MSIE 3.0 on it. The mail client, before Outlook Express, was called MS Internet
Mail And News, I think.

What do I need? I thought you would never ask! I need one of you to give me the
direct link to a web site that will allow me to download the last version of
MSIE 'PRIOR' to version 5.0

Presently I can not get on the Internet, so my grandson Brandon, age thirteen,
will be downloading it and putting it on a CD for Grandpa.

Thank you very much for your patience and your assistance. It is truly
appreciated.
